in a little village on Tropea hills by our house have a nice
vacation house of wood and stones on Tropea hills. The place is very quiet and never too warm
and a wood is only 400 mt from the chalet.
We are only 5 min. by car from the beautiful white sandy beach of Tropea and
Capo Vaticano (6 km). Here there are few public means of transport so you need a car.
You can rent it at Lamezia Terme Airport (50 km)
The vacation house is in a garden and is sourronded by olive and
fruit trees.
There is Satellite TV, DVD player with many english movies, refrigerator, a
kitchen,4/5 beds in 2 separate rooms, a bathroom (with lavabo, bidet and
shower) 2 big veranda with barbecue, private parking.
The surrounding area
Tropea stands on an imposing sandstone crag, in a magnificent position between the Gulfs of Sant´Eufemia and Gioia Tauro, and represents one of the most picturesque and artistically interesting centres in Calabria.
Tropea has very ancient origins, indeed, its area has conspicuous traces of prehistoric settlement and evidence of Greek and Roman presence.
Nowadays Tropea is an exclusive seaside resort that also boasts a modern tourist and fishing harbour. The town also has one of the prettiest and best-preserved historic centres in the region.
You have the wonderful beaches of Tropea in a walking distance and you can also reach the amazing Capo Vaticano.
