This fantastic Guest House is part of a bigger property of a Salentino Palazzo dating 1762. This part has been added reflecting the style of an Old Masseria.The milano based architect reproduced the same design of Masserias using all local stone and material. It has a loft style living/kithcen room with a fire place and a big table that can sit up to 16 people. Hanging on the walls large art works belonging to the private collection of the owners and some design objects. There is a bedroom in the main floor with a bathroom. There is a very nice external stair that leads to a panoramic terrace and 2 bedrooms and one very large bathroom. There is also a basement with an extra bathroom.

Giurdignano is located 10 minutes from the beaches of Otranto, 50 minutes from the airport of Brindisi and 30 minutes from the city of Lecce, famous for its baroque architecture. A car is necessary to move around the area as public transportation is limited. Taxis and private drivers are available in Otranto. A bicycle rental service is available.
The house is located in the center of a village with 1700 people and is placed near a vast olive tree area, it is walking distance from bar, supermarket, restaurants and bakery. The town is famous for the presence of megalithic monuments dolmen or menhir, of the archeological site called ’Le Centoporte", of several criptas, of which the most famous the church-cripta of San Salvatore.

Upon request, we can provide cooking lessons at home with local and regional products and recepies. There is also a wine tasting tour, which can be organised in the surroundings and bike rentals with guide for all the Salento area. Upon request also a guide that can speak all the languages.

In the courtyard there is the pool with some garden furniture around the pool to lay on the sun and sit and read a book. On the terrace of the first floor seats under the shade and pillows to relax.

The house has a courtyard with a pool that faces the Old Palazzo. It is an independant Guest house with private use of the pool. Nobody will be staying in the Old Palazzo while rented.

The price includes a daily gardner that takes care of the swimming pool and plants, electricity and water but not heating in winter and air conditioning in summer. There is a deposit fee of EUR 1000,00 to be given at arrival and returned if no damages are made. There is final cleaning charge of EUR 100 for all the house and 80 for one floor.

From airport follow Brindisi Lecce then take to Maglie. From Maglie follow directions to Otranto and before getting to >Otranto you will have signs for Giurdignano. Take the exit and go straight to the main square and you will meet with the house keeper that will bring you directly to the property.
