The vacation rental

The Apartment is newly furnished in the beginning of 2007. The two bedroom one bath has a total size of 45 sq m. It contains a living/dining room, bath, dent and kitchen. The bedroom has a queen size bed and a twin on the wall. The garden offers 170 sq m space for yourself. It is beautiful planted and offers everything you need to relax. The Apartment has its own entrance therefore you have plenty of privacy. Your own parking spot is directly located in front of your entrance.

The surrounding area

The small town of Steinhude is located on the southern shore of the Steinhuder Lake, 20 miles west of Hanover, Germany. It was formerly a small fishing village. Now it’s a primarily rural, nationally - recognized holiday resort. The fishing nets and baskets, the fishing boats and the peat skiffs on the shore provide a touch of nostalgia. Even today the fishermen still sail out onto the lake. In the town centre of Steinhude you will find many old, half-timbered houses, cosy restaurants and numerous shops. The locality of Steinhude offers a great choice of leisure and sporting activities.
