The modernized house is situated between village green and an archeological unexploited hill of the former mill, within a 10 minutes walking distance to a calm beach.The 120sqm-flat stretches across the whole first floor, if required you can make use of basement-rooms, too. From upper balcony you overlook the village street up to the Havel-hills. In all outdoor areas including sauna and rest area are lounges and deck chairs, inviting you to observe migrant birds like cranes and brants, eagles and kites. Very active guests can use bikes, a boat, several fitness-instruments and open-air-games. The barbecue grill is big enough for a succing-pig. A partly developed barn accomodates a lot of room for private parties and can be rented likewise.

The surrounding area
The village is situated lake-side with direct access to Havel-river. The local sandy beach is safe for playing and bathing children. For seniors there is a field for volleyball, room for sunbathing, shady places under the trees and alltogether much peace and quiet. Over the lake you find Pritzerbe, a little old Havel-town with some restaurants, the only active German (European?) weaving mill of reed, an ice cream parlour and a charming clinker- city center. The city of Brandenburg (e.g. cathedral-concerts, jazz-festivals, salsa-boattrips, open-air cinema), the abbey of Lehnin, the thermae of Belzig or courtyard music in Potsdam are further cultural higlights of nearer environment.

Activities
The lake is good for fishing, swimming, surfing, ice-skating. Almost directly behind the house beginns the landscape, so it s conveniant for jogging/walking/moving around.-Not far away(3 -4 km ) there are several horse-farmyards, where you can get to know riding.- Bicycle-tours are nice to Beetzsee, Brandenburg or Rathenow (national horticultural show).
