I Catani comprises a beautiful Casa Colonica and a cottage with panoramic views over rolling hills on the border of Umbria and Tuscany. The main farmhouse, which is over 400 years old, has been painstakingly restored, and offers comfortable accommodation for 10-12 people, in over 3000 square feet over 2 floors. In addition to this, the charming cottage, positioned a few hundred feet away, provides accommodation for up to four more persons. The station at approx. 30 km (Terontola) has trains to Perugia, Siena, Arezzo, Orvieto, Spoleto, Florence and Rome. Nearby there is also Lake Trasimeno, Italy's fourth largest lake. It offers a large range of water sport facilities.

I Catani is located on the north-western edge of Umbria, three hundred yards of the border with Tuscany and is well positioned for trips to the highlights of both provinces. It is also an excellent base for exploring Florence, Assisi, Gubbio, Spello, Siena, Todi.
