Nordstrand is well known for bicycle tours as well as inlinerscating tours. The routes take you along the sea shore on small, good paved trails in between the shep herds. The playground for the kids is 2-3 min. from you vacation home away. There are organized horsecariagetours into the Watt, everybody loves it. If you are a bird lover. watcher this is you area you want to be. 1000 of water fowls are living in the birdsanctuaries. If you like pottery-welcome.
Smaller ships will take you to the most famous islands around, like Sylt, Pellwurm, Amrum or to the Halligen. Don't miss that one.
20 min. drive away you can visit a famous museum from Theodor-Storm in Husum, it takes 45 min. to Büsum to the Blanken Hans! 1 hour drive to Schleswig
