Carsebuie is a traditional farm cottage recently refurbished to provide comfortable accommodation with lots of charm.
The cottage has two bedrooms and bathrooms on the ground floor and two bedrooms and a WC on the first floor, making it ideal for groups of mixed ages. Our guests tell us our beds are very comfortable, and the kitchen well equipped.
In spring and summer enjoy breakfast in the conservatory and lunch on the garden terrace and watch the wonderful wildlife that visits the gardens. You will find apple trees and roses, a herb garden and woodland within the 0.6 hectares of garden ground.
There is a games barn with table tennis and children's play area, and storage for bikes and fishing gear.

The surrounding area
You can take wonderful country walks from your doorstep over fields, up hills or along rivers. This really is a beautiful part of Scotland, very friendly and unspoilt by commercial tourist traps. This is where many Scots come on holiday to get away from Glasgow, Edinbugh, and the cities. There are over 30 golf courses, more than 20 challenging hill walks, pretty coastal paths and many lochs. Mountain biking, horseriding, fishing and golf can all be enjoyed locally. As well as outdoor pursuits there are many beautiful beaches and gardens to visit. Tea rooms, restaurants and pubs are within an easy drive. Wigtown, Scotland's book town, with 20 book shops and art galleries is well worth a visit, as are the ancient pagan and Christian sites.
