Part of the charm of this house is the construction that reflects the style of an Old Masseria. The milan based architect reproduced the same design of Masserias using all local stone and material. It has a loft style living room with arcades that go directly in the courtyard. There is a fire place and a table that can sit 6 people plus a table outside of the same size. Hanging on the walls art works belonging to the private collection of the owners and many design objects. There is a double bedroom in the main floor with a bathroom and 2 bedrooms (one twin bed and one doule) on the first floor that you can access by 2 external stairs with one bathroom.

The house is placed right at the center of the village of Giurdignano, in the Otranto area. The position of the house gives all guests the possibility to meet the local people, Giurdignano is located 10 minutes from Otranto, 50 minutes from the airport of Brindisi and 30 minutes from the city of Lecce, famous for its baroque architecture. A car is necessary to move around the area as public transportation is limited. Taxis and private drivers are available in Otranto. A bicycle rental service is available.
The house is located in a village with 1700 people and is placed at the center of a vast olive tree area, it is 10 minutes by car from the beaches and the port and town of Otranto. It is famous for the presence of megalithic monuments dolmen or menhir, of the archeological site called ’Le Centoporte", of several criptas, of which the most famous the church-cripta of San Salvatore. Very close to the center.ays very warm with foreigners..

Upon request, we can provide cooking lessons at home with local and regional products and recepies. There is also a wine tasting tour, which can be organised in the surroundings and bike rentals with guide for all the Salento area. Upon request also a guide that can speak all the languages.

In the court there is no grass but local stone with all Orange Trees for a nice shade. There is a barbeque not bricked but mobile. On the first floor a very big terrace with a nice view of old town

The price of rent final cleaning varies if you use only one floor with one bedroom. There is a daily gardner that takes care of the plants that is included in the price. The price includes electricity and gas, not the heating expenses during the winter. There is a deposit cheque of 500 euros at arrival and returned if no damages have been made.

From Brindisi airport follow Brindisi Lecce then take tangenziale Ovest and don't enter Lecce. Head to Maglie, take the Maglie- Otranto and before arriving to Otranto exit Giurdignano. Get to the main square with the church and meet with the house keeper.
