Clay cottage has a fully equiped fitted kitchen- electric ceramic hob cooker, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave.The south facing sitting/dining room has comfortable sofas, TV, video and CD/radio.There is a well-appointed ground floor shower room and toilet.
Bedroom 1 is a pretty, cosy room with a 1.5 metre bed and painted furniture.Bedroom 2 has two 90cm. painted metal beds and a light blue and cream colour scheme.
A travel cot and high chair are available.
There is an adjoining terrace with French metal garden furniture.The cottage has its own private garden with a lawn and a lovely flower garden at the front and rear of the property.Sun loungers and a barbecue are provided.
The surrounding area
The cottage is located 4km. west of the small market town of Holsworthy.It is 15km. from the small coastal town of Bude and the beautiful Atlantic coast and its numerous unspoilt beaches.
It is 30 mins. drive from the ancient pretty fishing village of Clovelly.It also lies almost in the middle between the 3 famous moors of Dartmoor, Exmoor and Bodmin moor.
King Arthur's legendary castle at Tintagel is also about 30 mins. drive as well as the beautiful harbour of Boscastle.
The cities of Exeter and Plymouth are about 1 hour drive and within the distance there are several historic houses to explore. The famous Eden Project ( a huge series of glass domes with different climates) is about 80 mins. drive.The owners will be happy to advise.
