The house is situated in Clapiers, a typical Southern French village with everything you would expect from it, and located directly next to Montpellier - a unique university city with an extraordinary spirit - and the clean beaches of the Mediterranean Sea.
The house is available all year around. Please note, however, that the pool is open only between approx. mid May through mid October (depending on the weather).
The "Residences du Pigeonnier" is a newly developed regular residential area - not a vacation resort - on the edge of the picturesque little village of Clapiers with approx. 4,800 inhabitants. The house has approx 128 m2 (1400 sqft) of living space for 6 to 7 people, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a pool of 8 by 4 meters in size.

Clapiers and Montpellier are both situated in the Department Herault (34) on the edge of the Provence. This history-loaded area has to offer numerous attractions for the vacationer: Gorgeous landscapes, loaded with traces of the Romans, impressive cities, clean beaches and Southern France's sunny climate.
General information about Montpellier
Only a few kilometers from the Mediterranean lies Montpellier, the secret capital of the Languedoc. The city has hardly any industry, but instead it boosts an incredible, huge and progressive university, a variety of cultural offerings and its intellectual and warm-hearted people.
Montpellier has one of the largest universities in France. Its medical faculty is one of the oldest in Europe.

Approaching from Germany, take the A9 motorway (Autoroute du Soleil) via Lyon towards the South and then take the exit # 28 to Vendargues or Castelnau le Lez.
Go on RN 113 to Castelnau le Lez and from there to Clapiers. The development is situated at the South edge of the village.
