The Holiday Apartments
Our house is located only 2 km away from the lake Königssee and can easily be reached by train or by bus. This position is perfect for hikers.
The various holiday flats are perfect for senior citizens and families.
You can undergo a course of treatment in the rehab clinic (0.5 km).
At the foot of the mountain Grünstein, you will find our guesthouse in a sunny and central position with its 13 holiday flats of different sizes.
All apartments are comfortable and nicely furnished.
The flats provide a living room with satellite tv, a completely equipped kitchen respectively kitchenette, 1 to 3 bedrooms and a balcony or terrace.
Enjoy your holiday in a friendly atmosphere with an individual service.
Special features
There is a bus stop right at the house. The bus takes you to the lake Königssee, to Salzburg in Austria, to Berchtesgaden, Bad Reichenhall, to Ramsau and the lake Hintersee, to the Jenner, the Obersalzberg or the Kehlsteinhaus.

Our lovely surrounding is perfect for hiking at the national park Berchtesgadener Land or to the lake Königssee which you will reach within 20 minutes on foot.
Enjoy the play of colours of nature and the view from the top of the mountains.
Leave your workdays behind and experience another world at the Königssee, on the Jenner (mountain), at the Königsseer Ache (stream), in the ice cave, the salt mine, in a gorge, the Kehlsteinhaus or in Salzburg.
Enthusiastic sportsmen and women will enjoy themselves at any weather: tennis, golf, diving, boat rental, bicycle rental, horseback riding, going up in a hot air balloon, gliding, rafting, swimming, miniature golf or cross-country skiing, alpine skiing and ice-skating in winter - everything is possible here.

Arrival
By car:
Take the autobahn A8 towards Salzburg and use the exit Bad Reichenhall, then continue on the B20 towards Berchtesgaden until you reach the town of Engeday. You then have to follow the signs to Schönau to the city hall (Rathaus) until you reach the Waldhauserstraße 75.
By train:
railway station Berchtesgaden. You can then continue by bus or taxi
