Location and surroundings
The perfumes and colours of an incomparable nature accompany as on our journey towards Sarrabus, the region that lies in the South east part of Sardinia. It's not difficult to reach: leaving Cagliari, we follow the state road 125, which takes us through the impossing mountain massive of the "Serpeddì" and the "Sette Fratelli", amidst breath-taking views of woods, thick Mediterranean maquis and wild rocky landscapes, made only slightly milder by the cascades of fast-flawing streams at the bottom of narrow irregular gorges. At the end of the pass, the panorama changes, becoming more and more gentle until it comes out on a plain reach in farmed fields and citrus groves. Here we find Muravera, the most important town in the area.
