It's not difficult to reach: leaving Cagliari, we follow the state road 125, which takes us through the impossing mountain massive of the "Serpeddì" and the "Sette Fratelli", amidst breath-taking views of woods, thick Mediterranean maquis and wild rocky landscapes, made only slightly milder by the cascades of fast-flawing streams at the bottom of narrow irregular gorges. At the end of the pass, the panorama changes, becoming more and more gentle until it comes out on a plain reach in farmed fields and citrus groves. Here we find Muravera, the most important town in the area.
