Fontanelle	The vacation rental This old farmhouse ("Fontanelle") has been recently restored with great care in maintaining its original features. On three floors and faced in stone, Fontanelle is built around a central courtyard and its centuries-old olive tree. It has been divided into 5 apartments (total sleeps 19) -each bearing the name of a olive tree type- and a large common living and dining room were our guests can gather before the fireplace and share their travel experiences. Every apartment has at least one double room with its own bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, a living room with a sofa bed and a fireplace or wood heater.
View from Fontanelle	The surrounding area Set in a green and quiet valley just below the Monte Solare, it's closeness to the highway S220, connecting Città della Pieve to Perugia, makes it an ideal starting point for daily trips to Umbria's historic cities (Perugia, Assisi, Gubbio, Spoleto) as well as to the neighboring lower Tuscany and North Lazio. Just at a few kilometers from our property, you can enjoy the beauty of Lake Trasimeno with it's two islands and it's towns (Castiglione del Lago, Passignano sul Trasimeno and Tuoro sul Trasimeno). Also the Umbrian medieval villages such as Città della Pieve, Panicale and Castiglion Fosco, are just a brief drive from our property.
Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil production	Activities Close by and easily reachable is a golf club, a horse-back riding center, tennis courts and soccer field. At Lake Trasimeno it is also possible to do water sports such as windsurfing, canoeing and sailing.
