The vacation rental
The park is located next to Marina Stavoren. In the main building of this harbour there are an indoor swimming pool, a ship chandler and a small supermarket. Furthermore there is a playground for the children. It’s about a 200-metre walk from Marina Stavoren to Marina Stavoren Buitenhaven. This harbour is known for its excellent surf and sailing location. There’s also a beautiful swimming beach. |

The surrounding area
Waterrijck Stavoren is situated within walking distance from the ‘Ijsselmeer’ and the characteristic little town of Stavoren. Because of its location between the Frisian lakes and the ‘IJsselmeer’, Stavoren offers you extensive aquatic possibilities. The forests and cliffs of Gaasterland can be reached easily by bicycle, as are three other historical towns; Hindeloopen, Workum and Sloten. The varied surrounding landscape offers some unique scenic area’s which offers the hikers beautiful views over grasslands, reed land and swamps. Furthermore Stavoren has a ferry connection to Enkhuizen. By train the towns of Sneek and Leeuwarden are easy to reach. With children you can visit a small park in Rijs or visit the fairytale forest in Enkhuizen.
