For your relaxation you'll find 1500 square mtrs of garden space w/ fruit trees, sun chairs, garden furniture, playing equipment sandbox for your little ones and a grill hut. In our barn with separate room for your bikes, you're invited to go for a match of table tennis, kickers of darts, or you may decide to just enjoy our beautiful landscape of the Mosel Valley and visit one the numerous nearby touristic sights / attractions! |

The surrounding area
The traditional wine village Brauneberg surrounded by a wonderful landscape with the typical steep vineyards lies very centrally on the banks of the Mosel River. Because of the particularly warm and mild climate, you'll find here some of the wines known throughout the world. Also, Brauneberg can claim to hold the German "Heat Record" with a temparture of 41.2°C (106.16F) taken in the famous vineyard called "Brauneberger Juffer" on Aug 11, 1998 by a well-known German Meteorologist.
From here you have lots of options to go for some trips along the picturesque Mosel Valley, the Hunsrück or the Eifel. Next to Brauneberg, you'll also find the medieval city of Bernkastel-Kues, which is always worth a trip!

Our recommendation: A trip to the "Vulkaneifel" - have a bath in the ancient volcano craters (Maare).
Mosel-Maare Bicycle roundtrip !
Follow the old railway road through tunnels and over bridges from the Eifel to the Mosel.
Our tip for hikers:
Hike to Traben-Trarbach and the take the river boat back (incl. passage of different locks)
