The vacation rental
Casa Nova is a traditional farmhouse, accurately restored, with a splendid view of the Farfa Abbey, where the simple and cordial atmosphere and the enchanting landscape gives life to an oasis of peace and tranquillity. At about an hour from Rome, conveniently reachable by train, there are possibilities for numerous excursions of cultural, artistic and naturalistic interest. For the guests there is a completely independent apartment inside the farmhouse with its own garden and a beautiful view on the Abbey. It consists of a living room with fully furnished kitchenette, fireplace, dining table and a double sofa bed, one double bedroom, bathroom with shower. |

The surrounding area
At about 40 kilometres from Rome, the area called Sabina extends from the river Tiber towards the Sabini mountains, which are part of the Appennine chain. The landscape is formed of hills covered with olive trees that climb up to steep mountains, extensive oak woods and everywhere, small medieval villages, castles and monasteries. In the heart of this area, immersed in the greenery of the olive orchards, Casa Nova is a traditional farmhouse, accurately restored, with a splendid view of the Farfa Abbey.
