Our house is located in Omis, just 800m from the center, near the sandbeach (350m). Only 20km to the north is the 1700 years old city of Split where you can visit Roman monuments such as the Palace of Diokletian, the Roman emperor who ruled from Split. In Omis´s old city, you will find many restaurants with dalmatian specialties, mainly fish. Overlooking the city is the fortress Mirabela, a former pirate stronghold.
