	The surrounding area The small complex De Zandloper is situated approx. 7 km south of Den Helder, direcly behind the dunes and in the beautifull flower fields. Within a few minutes walk you reach one of the cleanest and prettiest beaches of the Netherlands (www.blueflag.org)
	Activities Worthwile a visit in Den Helder are the Navy-museum, Sea-aquarium, Cape Holland, Fort Kijkduin. Trips to the historic city of Alkmaar (cheese market), the island of Texel (Ecomare - seals rescue) Het Zwanenwater (nature resort area) Badminton, biking, fishing, golf, hiking, horse-back riding, jogging, miniature golf, swimming, tennis, water park, water sports, windsurfing
