The Pingo-houses	The vacation rental Would you like to take a rest in the midst of nature? The Pingo-houses are ideal. the 6-pers. Pingo-houses have a spacious living-room, a kitchen, and either 2 or 3 bedrooms (with 2 there is a sleeping couch). The beds have quilts, cushions and will be made. Towels are not included. Furthermore the houses have bathrooms with either a shower or a bath and central heating. The terraces with garden furniture look over the beautiful landscape that surrounds us. Because we are situated in a quiet and peaceful area we wish to act accordingly. In short, this is a place particularly intended for people to find peace, quiet, relaxation and respect for nature and neighbour.
Pingo at sunset	The surrounding area Next to the B&B-guesthouse, the Farm-house, there is a group accommodation, our so-called Work-house. A little further along we have a Swedish bungalow, the Dream-house, and eight more houses, the Pingo-houses. These are all situated around a little lake, a so-called Pingo. A nature reserve in the back garden of our guest. Within a 15 min. drive you're in in the beautiful Lauwersmeer area, where the boat to Schiermonnikoog departs. There are many different museums and the famous botanical garden 'De Kruidhof' in Buitenpost. We have lovely cycling- and walking paths, one can go riding, fishing, canoeing, swimming, and the lovely towns Dokkum, Leeuwarden and Groningen with their sights and extra's are nearby.

Travel information

When coming via Groningen or Leeuwarden, follow the N355 to Twijzel. At the petrol station in Twijzel you shall see the first of two signs "Farmhouse" directing you to the Farm-house, Wylpaed Oast 23 in Twijzelerheide.
