The Apartments
The 18 roomy, bright and new apartments and studios have all bath & WC, kitchenette, air conditioning system, TV and large balcony (with view of the sea or the IDA mountains). The apartments have one seperated bedroom (to 5 persons). Very much importance is attached on cleanliness. The rezeption (fax and Internet) is 24 hours occupied. Agalaia and their family are very hospitable and help you gladly with all questions. Before the house there is a grill and a playground. The special: All products (vegetable, honey, meat) are from own production and therefore absolutely fresh and untreated !

Location and surroundings
The small place Kalamaki is in the south of the island, directly at the beach. They find here small business, a small open-rir swimming pool, as well as cafés and restaurants, which can be attained in only few steps. This very calm place is an ideal starting point for walking, hiking and inspections in the close environment. Like e.g.: the excavations of the once minoischen palace of Festos, Zaros with its lake and the moving route to the Rouvas ravine, Gortys (once capital of the island) with the oldest legal texts of Europe, as well as many monasteries. Who would like some nightlife, can drive in the evening to Matala (approx. 5 km) or Agia Galini (approx. 15 km) with its beach bars, cafés and discos.

by Ruth from BrettenWir waren gerade 15 Tage in Kalamaki bei Familie Papadospiridakis und können das Apartmenthaus jederzeit weiterempfehlen. Noi und Jorgos sind ganz herzliche Gastgeber und die Studios sind alle blitzsauber und groß. Wir hatten ein Studio nach hinten, was sich dann auch als ganz gut erwiess, war es doch nicht so heiss wie nach Süden. Sicherlich waren wir nicht das letzte Mal da! Herzlichen Dank an die ganze Familie und guten Erfolg weiterhin für euer Gästehaus.
