The surrounding area
The residential area as well as the village are cultivated. The beaches are unspoiled and mostly frequented by families, no discothecs or nightbars near by. The historic village Colares is situated between the heritage of menkind Sintra and “your” beach. It provides little local shops, banks, cafés, various restaurants and lots of beautyful spots to discover on romantic ways.

Activities
Perfect for sightseeing as well as sports. The beaches are well known for its splendid conditions for surfing. Lots of activities foe kids like a ride on the historic tram that passes by to the beach (approx 100 m)
