The Holiday Apartment

In the year 2003 we reconstructed this building in the classic style of a Mosel mansion on the foundation of an old wine-grower's house. Just 150 m away from the river Mosel, at the Pommerbach brook, the building enjoys perfect peace and quiet. You can relax without getting disturbed by the noise of the railway, road or ships. We have our own parking spaces right at the house. The house fits in with the traditional built-up area of the old village centre, yet there is enough space for a small lawn where you can sit and have a barbecue. Bikes can be stowed away safely. Apart from the holiday home, our own office for architectural and engineering services is located in the building.

Special features

On request you can use our roll service or book the breakfast package (except on Sundays) at a low charge. You are sitting in the patio and would like to have an espresso or cappuccino? It would be our pleasure to get this for our guests. You will find different beverages at favourable prices in the fridge of your apartment. On consultation with us, you may also make use of the old vaulted cellar of our house if you have occasion to celebrate.

Location and surroundings

More than 2000 years old, Pommern is a small wine-growers' village of about 500 people at the river Mosel. It is situated at the longest southern slope of the Mosel and disposes of a warm climate with little rain. The old wine-growers' houses, the oldest vicarage of the Trier diocese and the numerous small lanes make Pommern a magnificent, romantic environment for a holiday at the river Mosel. Our small village has its own train station, a baker's, a grocer's, rental bikes, snack bar, pubs and a good number of small wine-growers' inns. Here you can chat with the wine-growers and have a wine tasting. Close by you find lots of attractions for the whole family, such as the castle Burg Eltz, the amusement park Klotten and much more.
