The Cottage
We offer a true retreat from the pressure of modern living, far away from traffic with a high degree of privacy and seclusion in the natural landscape of the Normandy.
The nearest norman village is about 3 km away from our stone holiday cottage with 85 qm living space, parking lot and garden on the edge of a small street. Situated very calmly in green meadows with browsing cows and sheeps, apple trees, pear trees and wind-blown hedges. It offers a safe haven for children to play and nobody is disturbed.
In the daytime you can enjoy fantastic views to the Normandy landscape and in the night watch the truly gigantic starry sky.
If there is dirty weather you can cosy up to the fireplace of your holiday rental.
Special features
We speak German, English and French and we offer fresh products from our farm (vegetables, meat and eggs) as well as Cidre Pommeau Poiré and others.
A babysitting service can be provided.

The Normandy offers the choice between a lot of sport facilities such as hiking (hiking trail GR 221 is only 100 m away), cycling and horse riding, canoeing, Bungee-jumping, climbing or day trips with the donkey.
You are warmly invited to visit our farm (400 m) with its cows, sheep, chicken, ducks and horse. Enjoy the summer evenings at the camp-fire with Cidre, wine and baguette with Camembert and all the delicacies of the norman country.
There are many attractive destinations ot the Normandy to explore: the cathedral of Coutances, the carpet of Bayeux, the beaches of invasion or the Mont St. Michel or day trips to the Channel Island Jersey. Guided walks across the bay of Mont St. Michel during low tide are a real adventure.

Entspannungsurlaub mit Familie kann so schön sein

Wer kennt das nicht als Familie mit kleinen Kindern? Freut sich das Kind, ist die Erhlolung schon zur Hälfte gebucht.
Das können wir bei dem Urlaub nur voll bestätigen, es war wie Ferien auf dem Bauernhof.
Die andere Hälfte kommt durch die sehr naturbelassene Umgebung im hügeligen Umland der Normandie und, sofern es sie gäbe, kommt die "dritte" Hälfte allein durch die hohe Gastfreundlichkeit und familienfreundliche Art von Andrea und Schorsch.
Amelie spricht immer noch begeistert von der Traktor-Tour mit Schorsch und den süßen Kaninchen.
Punkt Abzug beim Service, da der Bäcker ja nicht direkt neben der Tür liegt, aber der Rest war absolut super. Und wer braucht schon einen Bäcker, wenn man auch Andreas herrliches, selbst gebackenes Holzofenbrot essen kann.Answer from Andrea Herten18/12/2012

Alle Wünsche erfüllt

by R. Hagemeister from KölnDas Fazit direkt am Anfang: Es ist ruhig, idyllisch und wer das französische Land mit seinen weiten Feldern und der schönen Architektur mag, wird hier ganz sicher nicht enttäuscht.
Die Unterkunft liegt abseits von Trubel und Lärm. Und unsere Sonnenscheine (6 und 10) haben es sehr genossen. Es gab für sie immer etwas zu tun, die Kuh musste gestreichelt oder die Katze gesucht werden. Für uns als Eltern ein Traum, im Urlaub mehrere Bücher zu lesen.
Wenn mal keine Lust zum Einkaufen besteht, lassen sich alle wichtigen Dinge direkt auf dem Hof der Vermieter erwerben.
Bei der Unterkunft handelt es sich um ein freistehendes, kleines Haus, dass mit allen notwendigen Haushaltsgeräten ausgestattet ist. Auch Spielzeug ist vorhanden.

"Mieux vaut tard que jamais" sagt ein französisches Sprichwort und daher, etwas verspätet, aber vielen Dank für Eure Bewertung!
Ich fand es übrigens richtig klasse, wenn Eure Älteste, mit Funkgerät ausgerüstet, bei uns das Essen für die ganze Familie einkaufen kam.

Immer wieder würden wir bei euch, liebe Andrea und Georg, Urlaub machen. Es ist ein kleines Paradies für Mensch und Tier.
Das gemütliche Haus lässt keine Wünsche offen und die Betreuung war auch klasse.

by A. Zieher from NürtingenWir, Paar, Mitte fünfzig, waren Anfang Juni 2012 eine Woche in diesem entzückenden Landhaus. Man hört den Kuckuck, sonst ist es absolut ruhig. Die Farbgestaltung der Räume ist sehr schön. Alles funktioniert bestens, auch der Fernseher mit deutschem Programm. Das Bad mit romantischer Wanne bietet viel Platz und kann bei kühler Witterung schnell geheizt werden.
Den Kamin im Wohnbereich haben wir abends mit Holz aus dem Schuppen befeuert, sehr gemütlich. Bei Andrea und Georg schauten wir nach unseren tollen Tagesausflügen noch vorbei um frischen Salat, Gemüse und Kräuter aus dem herrlichen, biologisch-dynamisch gepflegten Garten zu kaufen.
Georg liebt den Jazz, hat sogar bei "Jazz Sous Les Pommiers" in Coutance mitgespielt.
