The vacation rental
You will immediately feel at home in this house. The wonderful location, in the heart of the sailing yacht harbour of Portorosa, will fill you with enthusiasm. In February 2007, the house was completely fitted out by its owner for the purpose of rental and is very tastefully and comfortably furnished. The extravagant location on a small island in the centre of the harbour contributes to the special nature of this residence. This small island is connected to the mainland by a passable street and bridge ca. 50 m in length and, very important, is in a wholly quiet location. There are only 20 houses on the small island and there is no noise from traffic. The sailing ships pass by the balcony on the first floor and the large roof terrace at a distance of only 6 metres. |

The surrounding area
The beach and the large Caribbean communal swimming pool are only 300 m away. The shops and restaurants, bars, etc. can easily be reached on foot in a few minutes.
Location:
Neighbouring towns are Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto (35,000 inhabitants) and Milazzo (40,000 inhabitants). Portorosa is located beside Furnari in the centre of a broad bay between Capo Milazzo and Capo Tindari and the Eolic Islands situated just off the coast. The Eolic Islands can be reached from Portorosa within a short time by the rapid ferry. It is an ideal starting point for trips and tours of the sights on Sicily. All of the destinations can be reached quickly via well-developed roads and autostradas.

Hiking and trips:
There is an endless amount of destinations for trippers and tours of the sights.
The mountains along the coast and in the hinterland are wonderful hiking areas and in their original, natural state.
Cycling or mountain biking fans can look forward to wonderful trips.
Bikers are welcome. Sicily is a real delight for motorbike riders.

A huge, Caribbean communal swimming pool in Portorosa. It can be used by any resident against payment of a small charge. Sun-loungers, sun screens, restaurants, barbecues and bars are on offer here.
The sandy beach is located right beside the swimming pool, only 15 m away.
