Good parking area for 3 cars. L'Auvergne is situated at end of a lane serving one farm and our property. No through traffic. Large private meadow for guests' use only, with garden chairs/table, loungers and a barbecue. Flanked on two sides by hedges of blackthorn, hazel and oak; four geese graze alongside the third low hedge of goat willow and rambling roses. A deep grassed bank drops down at the end of the meadow into the entrance to L'Auvergne with parking area. Approximately 6kms (15 mins drive) to nearest beach. The western coast of Les Cotes des Iles near to Besneville offers unspoilt clean sandy beaches.

In the nearby town there is a forest adventure trail for children. We are able to take you to a bike hire shop and bring back your bicycles, if this is helpful. Bike rental, biking, fishing, golf, hiking, open-air pool, swimming, tennis, windsurfing
