Our holiday flat is close to forests that offer good hiking trails. A path for nordic walking is close-by.

Weiskirchen is only 35 km away from the city of Trier which is worth a day trip.
There are the nicest premium hiking paths of Germany nearby the holiday apartment.

   Im November 2011 war meine Frau in der Hochwald Klinik Weiskirchen, zur Reha. Um sie dort von Freitag bis Sonntag besuchen zu können reisten wir mit Bus und Bahn an, um bei Familie Deutsch in der super schönen FeWo, wo es einem an nichts fehlt, zu übernachten. Bei diesem Gastgeber haben wir so viel Hilfsbereitschaft, Menschlichkeit und Freundlichkeit erfahren, wie sie nur selten auf diesem Planeten zu finden ist. Von uns ein großes Danke dafür!!! FeWo und Gastgeber Top !!! Wir, Familie Steinert raten, Leute überzeugt euch selbst davon, ihr werdet es nicht bereuen und euch auf ein nächstes mal freuen !!!

   Für das Bundesradsporttreffen hatte ich mich 7 Tage im Nachbarort eingemietet, und ich habe es nicht bereut. Die Lage war ruhig. Ich konnte draußen auf der Terrasse frühstücken oder mein Abendessen einnehmen. Nachmittags lag ich bequem im Sessel oder auf dem Sofa, um die Tour de France im TV zu schauen. Morgens habe ich am Bett oder im Zimmer den Wetterbericht im Radio verfolgen können. Das Bett war sehr bequem, so dass ich ohne Doping am nächsten Tag die nächste Tour regeneriert angehen konnte. Und dann hatte es gleich am Anfang von der 1. Tour mitten im Sommer geregnet bei 7°C. Ich kam zurück zur Wohnung - und die Heizung war an. Schööön! Und Fr. Deutsch hat mir einmal wie selbstverständlich meine Sportwäsche gewaschen. Fazit: ich habe mich wohl wie daheim gefühlt. "Alles gut".
   PS: Bäcker und Post fußläufig erreichbar, Supermarkt im Ort.
   Jederzeit empfehlenswert, allein oder als Familie.

   Im März haben wir einige Tage in der Ferienwohnung verbracht. In der sehr geschmackvoll und funktional eingerichteten Wohnung machte es uns sehr viel Freude. Wir hatten Spaß die nähere und weitere Umgebung von hier zu erkunden. Nachts hatten wir einen erholsamen Schlaf auch durch die ruhige Lage.
   
   Wir können diese Wohnung nur weiterempfehlen.

   We enjoyed an excellent stay in a delightful part of the world. Silke and Torsten were very welcoming hosts and we particularly appreciated the walk we had in the nearby forest with Torsten and Stella( the dog). The Saarland area was previously unfamiliar to us and we are happy to recommend it to others. As we were travelling by car to Bavaria, Weiskirchen was a very convenient place to spend a few days en route, as it was a comfortable 5-6 hour drive from Calais and easily accessible from the A8. The apartment was comfortably furnished and situated in a peaceful setting. Many thanks!

   Wir waren zum ersten Mal im Saarland und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Grund dafür war neben dem schönen Wetter und den vielen Ausflugsmöglichkeiten auch die hervorragende Unterkunft bei Familie Deutsch. Viel Platz und eine hervorragende Ausstattung ließen uns "wie zu Hause" fühlen.
