The Bio-Farm
Our farmhouse, that is listed for preservation, is located on a large property off the beaten track at the edge of a small forest and close to the dyke of the river Elbe.
We redevelopped this Low German house true to the original with historical and ecological building materials as well as modern environmental technology within seven years. Our efforts were awarded with several prices.
Both holiday flats are set in the former stables. A cosy hall, that you can use also, leads to the small sauna and the flats that both have their own separate entrance.
On the property, there are enclosures, willows, a beautiful garden, seating corners, pavilion, barbecue and fire pit, playground and a lawn are available.
Special features
We breed the Skudden which is an endangered sheep. The organic lamb is delivered to the nearby castle Lenzen.
There are approx. 115 old kinds of fruit trees as well as 18 kinds from cultivation of the former DDR.

Additional amenities
You can use the large, cosy hall that is furnished with two hall-stands and comfortable seating corners with dining tables and a coffee table. The bedrooms and living rooms have insect screens and smoke detectors. Thanks to the floor and wall heating, there is a nice climate inside the rooms. Location and surroundings
Our organic farm is located in the floodplain of the Elbe in Brandenburg which is part of the 400 km long biosphere reserve "Flusslandschaft Elbe" that involves several German states and is one of the last protected floodplains in Central Europe.
Our area of the floodplain of the Elbe, that is set between the towns of Dömitz and Lenzen and the Elbe and its tributary Löcknitz, is called Lenzerwische.
You will encounter in a very confined space riverside, marsh and geest that all are influenced by the dynamics of the Elbe.
Along the dyke, you will find unique villages with West Low German farmhouses that are found only here. Northeast of Lenzen adjoin the lake Rudower See and the bog Rambower Moor.
