The Holiday Apartments

Two inviting and tastefully furnished vacation apartments in a sunny hillside location with an attractive view over Forbach and into the Murgtal. Both apartments have a living room with integrated kitchen, one bedroom, daylight-bathroom with shower/WC , a balcony and a garage.

For our guests, a Konus guest card is included in the rental price. Konus means that local public transport is free of charge for you. In other words, on presenting your Konus guest card, you get free travel on local busses and trains in the Black Forest as often as you wish during your stay with us.

Location and surroundings

The holiday region of Forbach with its extensive woods, forest lakes and its wild and romantic riverside scene belongs to the most beautiful hiking regions in Germany.

One of the most beautiful cycle tracks of the region crosses the Forbach area: The Tour de Murg

There is also plenty to do in winter in this holiday region. The altitude of surrounding area of the Kaltenbronn or along the Schwarwaldhochstrasse (Black Forest Mountain Road) is ideal for modern, illuminated skilifts and well prepared and snow safe ski / cross country ski runs.Toboggan runs offer carefree toboggan fun and for adventure seekers, there are plenty of possibilities for snow shoe walking.

   Hallo Herr Giesmann,
   
   vielen Dank einmal mehr für die Möglichkeit, ein paar Tage in Ihrer schönen FeWo in Forbach zu verbringen.
   
   Trotz aller geschäftlich/musikalisch/künstlerischen Verpflichtungen konnte ich einen halben Tag mit einer kleinen Wanderung in der vorfrühlingshaft schönen Landschaft verbinden und Ihre FeWo als "Ruhe- und Ausgangspunkt genießen". Wenn sich einmal wieder die Gelegenheit dazu ergeben sollte, komme ich gerne erneut auf Sie zu.

   It is a very nice vacation apartment at Giesmann's. Family Giesmann provided excellent service for us. Everything is organized very well. The location is also convenient. With the konus card, we drove around with S-Bahn and buses. This was very new experience for us.

   wir haben einige schöne Tage mit Abstand vom Alltag gesucht und gefunden. Ihre Wohnung hat uns sehr, sehr gut getan. Sie ist einfach zum Wohlfühlen - viel Holz, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, licht und freundlich, Südbalkon, gut durchdacht ausgestattet mit allem, was so gebraucht wird. Herzlichen Dank!

   Bei unserem Mountainbike-Urlaub, den wir dieses Jahr im Schwarzwald gemacht haben, waren wir auf der Suche nach einer geeigneten Ferienwohnung. Wir sind auf die Ferienwohnung "Sonnenhalde" gestoßen und das Angebot hat uns sehr zugesagt.
   
   Als wir angekommen sind, waren wir positiv überrascht und mehr als zufrieden. Wir haben die Wohnung genau in dem Zustand vorgefunden, wie sie beschrieben war. Eine sehr gepflegte und 1A ausgestattete Ferienwohnung mit vielen kleinen Extras. Auch die Haushälterin stand für evtl. Fragen immer zur Verfügung. Alle Daumen hoch und gerne wieder.

   Wir waren auf der Suche nach einer Ferienwohnung in der Nähe von Baden-Baden, wo wir einen Verwandten, der dort im Krankenhaus bzw. in Reha war, zu besuchen. Mit von der Partie war unser junger Golden Retriever und wir fanden in der Sonnenhalde eine ideale Wohnung für uns beide und den Hund. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön und stimmig eingerichtet und enthält alles (und mehr) als man braucht und man fühlte sich sofort zuhause, als man eintrat. Die Lage war für den Hund auch ideal, da die Straße hoch direkt Felder sind, wo man sehr schön spazieren kann. Doch auch in der Umgebung war viel, wo man super mit ihm gehen konnte. Die Fahrt nach Baden-Baden war natürlich immer etwas nervig aufgrund der Serpentinen, doch die Wohnung an sich ist wirklich ganz WUNDERBAR!! :o)
