The vacation rental
Already in and during the times of the emperor, the forest of Göhrde was a popular destination. Here met the dukes and the aristocracy to hunt in one of the most beautiful mixed woodlands of Germany. It is not only the wild animals: red deer, reodeer, wild boars, mouflons who attract the hunter, but also the wanderer and nature lover are delighted and fascinated by the gilly valleys and the unique beauty of the forest of Göhrde, which is national reserve. Göhrde is in all seasons more than worth to visit. |

The surrounding area
6 holiday apartments, each with seperate entrance, are located directly on the edge of the timber forest and closed to the ancient hunting seat (castle) of emperor Kaiser Wilhelm I. and II. and todays international adult education centre.
Thanks to the favourable position of our house, tourist attractions like Hitzacker, the Wendland, Bad Bevensen or the wellknown City of Lüneburg are easily reachable, not to forget Hamburg.
An 18 holes Golfcourse (Golfclub Göhrde) is in immediate vicinity
(7 km drive through the beautiful forest of Göhrde), and also public swimming pool with tennis courts.

Trekking, hiking and horse riding. Wide cultural offers in Hitzacker (Musiktage - Classic and avantgarde). Forest museum in Göhrde, historical "Rundlingsdörfer", Hundertwasser (famous artist) railway station in Uelzen. "Kulturelle Landpartie" from Ascension Day till Whitsun:500 artists and craftsmen present in 90 locations their objects.
