The Holiday Apartment

The Klockow farm house in neogothic style was built in 1853 by F.W. Buttel, an apprentice of Schinkel. The farm house and the park are under german memorial protection. Since 1994 it gets extensively renovated. The 85sqm flat is located in the ground floor of the farm house with a separate entry. It is completely furnished and renovated, with central heating, a huge living room with satelitte TV, a comfortable kitchen with stove, oven, sink, dishwasher, washing maschine as well as a bathroom with toilet, bidet, 2 sinks, shower, bath tube and a separate guest toilet. The sleeping room has 2 beds, additionally there are a fold away-bed and a sleeping chair in the living room.

Dogs are allowed on request. A car port (also for bikes) is available.

Location and surroundings

Klockow is part of the Galenbeck community in Mecklenburg Vorpommern Uckermark with 130 inhibitants. Besides the farm house, the church from the 13th century is another architectonically interesting building. It is one of the oldest churches in Mecklenburg. In close distance there are the Galenbeck sea and the Putzarer and Lübkow lake with the opportunity for swimming. The area is perfect for walking and biking. Further points of interest are the isle of Usedom with the beach of the Eastsea and the health resorts in Ahlbeck and Heringsdorf as well as the polish market just behind the border and the city of Stettin.    Mehrmals schon verbrachten wir einen wunderbar erholsamen Urlaub im Gutshaus von Klockow. In der geräumigen und sehr gut ausgestatteten Ferienwohnung fühlten wir uns gleich wohl und konnten im weitläufigen Park nach ausgedehnten Ausflügen zu den Kurorten der Ostsee und Polens herrlich ausspannen. Die gut ausgebauten Radwege nutzten wir für ausgiebige Fahrradtouren in die weite, naturbelassene Umgebung Mecklenburg-Vorpommerns, bei denen uns die Begegnungen und Beobachtungen der noch in großer Anzahl vorhandenen Wildtiere und die Vielzahl von Vogelarten immer wieder begeistert haben. Das Schwimmen im nahegelegenen Lübkowsee war stets ein ganz besonderes Vergnügen. Das angenehme Klima und die wohltuende Ruhe haben ebenfalls dazu beigetragen, dass die Ferienzeiten für uns einen hohen Erholungswert hatten.

   Wir haben einen herrlichen Urlaub mitten in der Natur Mecklenburg Vorpommerns genießen dürfen, aber mit jeglichem Comfort, den man sich im Urlaub wünscht!
   Besonders gut gefallen haben uns die Lage des malerischen Gutshauses in Mitten der Natur und der großzügige Park mit dem alten Baumbestand - ideal zum Ausspannen, für Kinder und Hund!
   Mit dem Auto oder Motorrad kann man herrliche Ausflüge an die Ostsee, die Mecklenburger Seenplatte oder nach Polen unternehmen. Die leicht hügeleige Landschaft lässt sich am besten zu Fuß oder Ross erleben und zunehmend auch mit dem Rad. Die nahe gelegenen Seen laden zu einer Abkühlung und zum Angeln ein.
   Ein wirklich schönes Urlaubsziel für Naturfreunde!

   Die Ferienwohnung im wunderschönen Gutshaus Klockows ist ungewöhnlich großzügig geschnitten, so dass wir uns auch mit mehereren Personen sehr wohl gefühlt haben! Das Grundstück mit seiner Parkanlage ist hervorragend zum Ausspannen geeignet, die Ausstattung der Wohnung tadellos. Rundherum genossen wir die Weite der mecklenburgischen Landschaft mit schönen Ausflugszielen und freuen uns auf den nächsten Besuch!!
