The vacation rental
Le Pistachier was completely renovated during 2006 and new furnished and equpped, paying particular attention to comfort. The house is located in the centre of Assignan and has large windows on two sides. On the ground floor is the eat-in kitchen and the spacious living room. French doors open from the living room to the street and during the summer months you can do as the French do and put table and chairs just outside. On the second floor are two bedrooms, each with bathroom. The baker comes to the village each day and stops just outside the house - fresh bread and croissants are taken care of! |

The surrounding area
Assignan is surrounded by vineyards as far as the eyes reach and peacefully located. For lovers of wine this is paradisic - within a few minutes walk are several winemakers who produce very good wines, several of them organic. Walkers will also be happy here - there are two marked trails which start in the village, and a number in the surrounding area. St Chinian is only five minutes by car, where you can find all shops and restaurants as well as the twice weekly farmers market.
