The Holiday House
A new house built with an eagerness to show off its beauty and love with attention to the details. The whole structure is new from the foundations to the lawn. However, this could only be discerned by an expert's eye due to the fact that we've given it a traditional local style. A style enhanced by the erratic plaster and wooden beams on the ceiling and the furnishing, adding to its allure the beauty of a 100-year-old structure.

Location and surroundings
The village of Pitsidia is located about 70 km south of Heraklion with an estimated population of about 700. It belongs to the same municipality as Matala.
At an altitude of 80 m and only 1 km away from Kommo beach, the village enjoys one of the area's best climates.
Pitsidia has hospitality rooted in its tradition since it was the first village in the area to develop its tourism, making it one of the most sought out destinations, especially by families.
With its clean, well-looked after lodgings and family taverns, Pitsidia have kept its visitors' life quality at a high level. In addition to the above its easy access to other locations has helped mark it as an ideal holiday destination for foreigners and Greeks alike.

We really enjoyed our vacation and especially the lovely garden and the design of the house itself. The equipment of the house fits also well for a stay with a little child! Erholsame Tage in wunderschoenem Ambiente.

Durch die Eingangstuer kommt man in den weitlaeufigen Wohnraum mit hoher Decke, Kamin, Sofa, gut ausgestatteter Kuechenzeile. Alles ist ganz schlicht in Weiss und Grau gehalten. Dadurch kommen diverse Designobjekte sehr schoen zur Geltung. Genial war auch, dass das Grundstueck von einer hohen Mauer umgeben ist und somit die Privatsphaere gewahrt bleibt, obwohl man eigentlich mitten im Dorf wohnt und alle Restaurants, Laeden und die nette Traumfabrik gerade um die Ecke liegen. Im Garten haben wir nach einem Bad im Pool, der nur im Blau des Himmels schimmert, unter Orangen- und Zitronenbaeumen gefruehstueckt. Manos, der perfekt Deutsch spricht, und Ziza sind sehr nette Vermieter. Sie haben sich um alles Notwendige gekuemmert, ohne zu stoeren. The house of "our dreams", harmonious mix of traditional Cretan style and modern interior, lovely backyard with pool and mandarines, great sense of style, forced us to spend much more time in the house than we usually do on vacation. Der Garten bietet ausreichend Platz, man kann unter dem Schatten der Zitronenbäume wunderbar relaxen oder in den großzügig angelegten Pool springen. Manos und Ziza kümmern sich fürsorglich um Ihre Gäste und sind jederzeit ansprechbar. Wir kommen wieder.
