The vacation rental
The whole of the hotel facility comprises one of the most beautiful old farmhouses with reception and breakfast room, 3 large maisonette apartments (3 and 4 room apartments) within the converted barn and the hotel in country house style with the 1 and 2 room apartments.
All rooms and apartments are tastefully and comfortably furnished in Bavarian style. They all have a shower/WC, TV (satellite), direct dial telephone with fax and modem connection and a safe. In addition, all apartments have a dining area, a foldaway kitchen or a kitchen, a cosy seating area as well as a balcony or a terrace.

The surrounding area
Our house is located in the direct vicinity of the Tegern Lake. Rottach-Egern and its elegant shops, the lake and thermal baths and the well-tended spa facilities are only a few minutes away. The spa and congress centre of Rottach-Egern is located diagonally opposite. We are the ideal starting point for hikes and mountain tours, golf, tennis and much more besides.
The hotel’s own 6-hole short course Par 3 “Birdie Golfcenter Tegern Lake” is only 200m away.
For golfers we are able to arrange reduced green fees for the courses in the area.

Travel information
By car: motorway A 8 Munich - Salzburg, exit at Holzkirchen, continue to follow the signs for the Tegern Lake (Tegernsee), at Tegernsee-Süd (just before Rottach-Egern) turn off left.
By rail: Tegernsee station, taxi to the hotel approximately 8 euro, coming by bus alight at the bus stop Schwaighof. |
