The vacation rental
The dune park Binz is a modern construction built in the spa style. The flats are very cosy and well fitted. The grounds extend across large grassed areas that are criss-crossed by paths. Elderly visitors can go for relaxing strolls and children have plenty of space to run around and play. The grounds are separated from the large flat beach only by 80 m of dune forest. There is a snack bar and a backshop in the reception building.
There is a stop for the "Binzer Tuckelbahn" – Binz local public transport – outside reception and you can travel to important points in Binz for free, e.g. high street/sea bridge or the stop ""Rasender Roland" or to the tourist management centre. |

The surrounding area
The Baltic Sea is very flat in Binz and inviting for play and strolls. The bay is large, the beach flat and wide. The water front and beach promenade are suitable for long walks, reaching as far as the neighbouring village of Prora. The Jasmund chalk cliffs are visible, to which boat rides are available from the Binz sea bridge. The large Granitz forest is inviting to walkers and cyclists. Sight worth visiting: Hunting castle Granitz with a 40 m high observation tower. You can reach the neighbouring village of Putbus and the lake-side beaches of Sellin, Baabe, Göhren with the small-gauge railway "Rasender Roland" that is 100 years old.

Activities
Preferred leisure activities available are swimming, cycling, walking, jogging, strolls. Our homepage provides information on possibilities for diving, deep sea fishing, golf, chartering yachts and visits to the Störtebeker festival. Adventure swimming pool in the neighbouring hotel IFA. Thermal baths are available in the neighbouring hotel "Binz Therme".

Travel information
The journey takes several hours less than 5 – 10 years ago now that the BAB (national motorway) has been completed to shortly before Stralsund and the connection from there to Stralsund is a national road similar to a motorway (2 lanes in either direction).
The new Rügendamm will further relieve congestion from 2008.
