The Holiday Apartment

The absolutely quiet holiday apartment - for relaxation, living and sleeping for up to 5 persons- offers a modern bathroom with a window, a comfortable kitchen-living room, including washing-machine, dish-washer, refrigerator with freezer, a gas cooker, coffee/espresso-machine, iron, etc.

There are two living-bedrooms: one offers a large double bed (1,80mx2,00m) including an orthopaedic mattress an a small seating corner, the other room offers a futon sofabed as well as a comfortable sofa (extendible to a 1,80mx2,00m bed with slatted frame and mattress). An additional mattress (1mx2m) and a cot are available as well. From the balcony you have a nice view to the garden and the church tower.

Besides cable-TV, VCR and telephone, various books, board games and sports equipment are available for our guests.

The 2nd flat -new since 2009- lies centrally in the heart of 'Steglitz', easily accessible by public transport, nevertheless quiet with garden and terrace.

Special features

Non-smoking accommodation. Please smoke only outside on the balcony or in the garden.

The entire equipment as well as the bed linen are suitable for allergy sufferers.

On request: mobile phone and laptop computer.

Location and surroundings

'Stegiltz' is a part of the former 'West-Berlin' with many green areas and very good transport connection: 'Metrobus', city train and subway. The quiet but still centrally located accommodations are next to the city park 'Steglitz' and the famous shopping street 'Schlossstrasse' (5 minutes) with its castle 'Steglitzer Schloss'.

Within 15 minutes by public transport you reach the zoo and the 'Potsdamer Platz'. The university (FU-Berlin), museums such as 'Domaene Dahlem', the Botanical Gardens as well as the 'Benjamin Franklin' hospital are nearby.

Restaurants, cafés and shopping possibilities are right on your doorstep! If you wish to experience Berlin not only by being one of the many tourists on the 'Hackeschen Markt' you will feel very comfortable in our accommodations.

If you wish to recover from the big city, you can enjoy a run or bicycle trip along the 'Teltowkanal'. During summer there is a boat going from the city park to 'Potsdam'.

   Hallo Frau Kunert, wir hatten ein paar sehr schöne Tage in Berlin und haben es sehr genossen "heim" zu kommen, in Ihre Oase der Ruhe und uns hier für die nächsten Touren auszuruhen. Die Ferienwohnung ist einfach klasse, es fehlt an nichts. Die Küche wunderbar ausgestattet! Ihre nützlichen Tipps rund um Berlin waren ebenfalls sehr hilfreich. Wir freuen uns auf unseren nächsten Berlinbesuch! Bis dahin alles Gute!

   Her appartment is perfect for families or gruops of singles. Clean, quite, easy park, easy transportation. But, the best discovery is the owner. She was a great company for our trip, showing the best places to go, things to do. She is very funny. We recommend this place to saty. Andre, we are waitng for you in Brazil, if is possible to you, sure.
