The magnificent former residence of a Cardinal is the most beautiful home of Arcevia and the wide surroundings. The view is overwhelming, the old Mediterranean park is spacious and the beautifully situated pool with a water area of over 350 sqm, is the largest private pool in the province. With visual contact to the sea, the former owner has created a small paradise on earth.
The property is extremely quiet situated in the Natural Park of Gola della Rossa and is surrounded by 26 acres of private grounds with breathtaking views of Arcevia, the gently rolling landscape, the Adriatic and the Apennines mountains.

The huge property includes two buildings that have been completely renovated in 1999 and have no visual contact.

Location and surroundings

The historic town of Arcevia, "Jewel of the mountains" is within walking distance (1,3 km). This area of the province Marche, Italy's green heart", is the most beautiful - picturesque castles with treasure troves of antic art, green hills, vineyards, miles of sandy beaches and beautiful protected caves with crystal clear water. The foothills of the Apennin mountains with their untouched nature are rich with wildlife, and abundant with fruits, mushrooms and truffles. This fascinating region enjoys a mild climate, pure air and each season has it's own beauty. A fulfilled dream for people wanting to relax, for sun seekers, patrons of the art, for hikers and mountain bikers.

   ...wir waren vor bereits 10 Jahren dort und erinnern uns immer noch sehr gern an die wunderbaren 3 Wochen, die wir dort verbracht haben.
   
   Man hat dort soviel Ruhe. Das Anwesen ist wunderschön, wildromatisch. Unser Sohn, damals 6 Jahre, hat dort im Pool das Schwimmen gelernt.Den Pool hatten wir zu 98% für uns allein, denn die anderen Gäste (55+) waren oft wandern. Es gab damals direkt vom Anwesen einen Weg in den Nationalpark.
   Es ist aber nicht nur für Familien sehr schön dort. Auch z.B. ausgebrannte Manager o.ä. finden dort ihre Ruhe, wenn sie es denn möchten.
   Die Terrasse, Richtung Pool, ist sehr groß und man hat Sonne zum Frühstück. Der Ausblick am Abend von dort ist wunderschön. Und der Sternenhimmel...überwältigend!
   Fahren Sie einfach selber hin und genießen die Zeit dort. Es lohnt sich!!!

   Die wunderschöne Wohnung liegt im 1. OG der Villa, mitten im Grünen, ganz ruhig am Ortsrand von Arcevia.
   
   Bereits nach dem ersten Frühstück auf der großzügigen, voll möblierten Terrasse hat man sich in dieses Anwesen verliebt. Der große, saubere Pool und der gepflegte, weitläufige Park, in dem alles liegt, vervollständigen die absolute Erhol-Atmosphäre.
   
   Die Wohnung ist schön eingerichtet, sauber und wirkt durch die hohe Decke (mit Sichtdachstuhl, wunderschön!) sehr großzügig. Das Bad ist sehr schön und neu und auch die Küche lässt kaum Wünsche offen.
   
   Arcevia ist ein süßes, kleines Städtchen und auch die umliegende Landschaft und die Orte sind wunderschön. Direkt hinter dem Anwesen beginnt beispielsweise ein kleiner Rundwanderweg auf die nächste Bergkuppel, wunderbare Aussicht!
   
   Die Vermieter geben einem auf Wunsch jederzeit Tipps für Ausflüge, Restaurants, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten etc.
   Wer also einige ruhige, entspannte Tage in schönem Ambiente verbringen will, ist hier genau richtig.
   
   Wir waren in den letzten Jahren nun schon 3-mal in Arcevia und kommen diesen Sommer wieder.

   FEWO befindet sich in einer Villa auf einem wunderbaren Anwesen. Wer sich vom Stress ausruhen will, der ist hier genau richtig. Erholung ist garantiert. Der wunderschöne Pool ist Klasse. Die Vermieterin gab uns jederzeit Tipps für Unternehmungen und Einkauf. Wohnung für zwei Personen ideal und mit vollwertigem Bad sowie einer großen Terrasse. Wir haben einen wunderschönen Urlaub verbracht. Bis zum nächsten Jahr!

   We are an extended family of six who have spent two weeks at Villa San Giovanni. Our general experience have been very positive. Although the landlords live in the same building, they are very discreet, while at the same time being helpful and hospitable. The apartments are tastefullly furnished, probably with the nicest bathroom we have ever seen in an apartment.. The balconies are worth the price alone - we spent mornings and evenings here. The kitchens lack proper cooking facilities, no oven or microwave, only with a tiny cooking stove, but nevertheless sufficed most of the time. The beds are of high quality. The pool is the best we have ever found, big and very clean. The property is in a beautiful park, with an alpakka farm at the end (!). Croaking frogs in a dam next to the house nearly drove us crazy during the night, but you get used to it. The village of Arcevia is lovely, even lovelier is the seatown of Senegallia, 40 minutes away. You do need a car - even walking into Arcevia takes too long, particularily at night when it is pitch dark. You also need a car for shopping that is 3 km away - and for eating out. Decent restaurants in Arcevia and within a 10 km radius. Suitable for couples and for families who are looking for the quiet, truly Italian life.
