The vacation rental
Our Mobile Home of type "Viking", measuring 9x3 meters, has 2 bed-rooms, 1 with a double bed and 1 with 2 single beds; 2 additional beds can be made in the livingroom.
You will find the equipment very complete: Colour TV, DVD player, Stereo with CD player, Sat-TV tuner, Airconditioner, etc.
The open kitchen features: 4-burner gas cooker, combination micro-wave oven, toaster, coffee maker, big fridge, watercooker, etc.
In the Mobile Home you have your own bathroom: in it you will find the toilet, shower and a washbasin.
In front of the Mobile Home we constructed a decking (size 9x3 meters), where you will find a big dining-table, 6 chairs, the barbecue and 2 sun-beds: a perfect place for eating, drinking or just enjoying the sun. |

The surrounding area
Campsite Sol d"Or lies just outside Peñíscola, a wonderfull little town at the Mediterrenean Sea. It is also called "the Mont St. Michel"of Spain, because just outside the town there is a castle high up on a rocky peninsula. This castle has been the stage of many wars and battles, going back to the middle-ages, between Romans, Moors and Catholics.
The movie "El Cid, starring Charlton Heston, was turned here on location.
Peñíscola has a little but lively fishing port, and you will it very interesting to watch the boats return with their hulls full of fresh fish, most of which is sold directly to the many hotels and restaurants in the area.
North of the rocky peninsula you will see beautifull, sandy beaches as far as 5 km long.
