The Holiday House
The Venetian house is situated in quarter Kastelli ,which is high and cetrally located.The narrow, superlbly renovated and well-equipped house has three story connected by stairs and includes a modern kitchen and bathroom aw well as a roof terrace.The roof terrace offers a panorama view all over the Venetian old port and the sea.It provides very comfortable accomodation in truly unuque position.The wooden furniture and floors have been treated with ecological paints.The guests will enjoy the view on the roof terrace.Take a ten minutes strolls to the sandy beach only a short breath away from the famous Venetian port and the Market.
We rent the Venetianhouse from November to March per month.Please ask for the rent!

Chania is a beatiful and picturesque city with reminders of the past at every corner.Hania is main town in the west of Crete,with the largest population (50000)after Heraklion. It is divided in two parts-the new town and the old town,built around the Venetian harbour with numerous picturesque narrow streets and architecture showing the influence of decades of foreign domination.The town is a beautiful puzzle of Minoan, Venetian and Turkish architecture punctuated by hidden squares.

by G. Kruijt from NederlandeWe had a very pleasant stay at the Venetian House. The house is situated in a small street near the beautiful harbour and all the shops and restaurants. The view on the roof terrace is beautiful.
The house was very clean and very nice and white crispy clean sheets on the beds. the kitchen was well equipped. Enough space for your clothes. We enjoyed our stay very much and we hope to come back one day. -
Alles in allem war ich sehr zufrieden.

Die Unterkunft war sauber, mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und wir haben sogar ganz in der Nähe des Hauses einen Parkplatz gefunden – obwohl die Nachbarn doch sehr skeptisch waren ;-) Das beste Argument des Hauses ist wohl die Dachterrasse mit der schönen Palme und dem besonderen Nadelbaum, die zentrale Lage und die Ruhe, die in griechischen Städten sehr unüblich ist.
Alles in allem war ich sehr zufrieden. -
Schönes Haus ohne wenn und aber

by Mr. Werner from Deutschland-DresdenDas Haus ist sehr angenehm, sauber, gepflegt und zurückhaltend eingerichtet, was uns (Eltern, 2 Kinder 12+15) sehr gefiel. Der Kontakt mit der Vermieterin war korrekt und unkompliziert, wir hatten unsere Ruhe und alles hat gut geklappt. Die Nachbarschaft ist manchmal etwas lebhaft (ab und zu Musik live), aber das war auch o.k. so, zum Teil sogar richtig angenehm. Es ist ja eine lebhafte Stadt, und dafür möchte man auch dort sein. Die vergitterten Fenster am ehemaligen Stadthalterpalast gegenüber - nun ja, das ist eben die Geschichte und Patina, uns hat das nicht gestört, im Gegenteil.
Selbst ein kleiner aber fein sortierter Bücherregal ist da, und die wohl bedeutendste archeologische Ausgrabung in Chania fast vor der Tür. In Taverne "Despoto" in der Nähe hingen wir mehrere Abende, wegen dem richtig guten Essen und Hauswein und vor allem - hervorragender Musik.
Ein Glückstreffer... Wir werden es unbedingt und mit guten Gewissen weiter empfehlen. -
La terrasse est superbe,la vue est vraiment panoramique

by Ms. Marmaridou from Madrid SpainNous avons resté à la maison vénitienne deux étés consécutives. La première fois était au printemps 2010 et encore cette année en Juillet. L’emplacement de la maison est exceptionnel parce qu’elle combine la ville et la campagne en même temps. Le port vénitien avec des restaurants et des cafés se trouve à 3 minutes de la maison. Le centre de la ville avec des Banques et des supermarchés est également à 5 minutes. La maison est décorée et meublée avec goût. Elle est bien équipée et propre. Mon mari et moi, on l’a trouvé très confortable. La terrasse est superbe. La vue est vraiment panoramique et il y de l’ombre d’ une tente au matin et à l’après midi. Beaucoup de nuits, on ne voulait pas sortir et on préférait rester à la maison et diner à la terrasse. Bien que la propriétaire de la maison ne fût pas là, elle nous téléphonait souvent, si on avait besoin de quelque chose. La maison n’est pas appropriée pour des handicapés, mais on la recommande vivement pour 2 ou 4 personnes.

Great house with amazing sea view

The terrace and its sea view is amazing!!!!
The house has everything you need and is very close to the center with all its shops, restaurants, harbour, etc.
The only thing is that the beaches close to Chania are not so beautiful. But if you rent a motorbike, as we did, you can see other beaches, even if the most wonderful ones, like Falasarna and Elefonisi, are too far away to be reachable with the motorbike. We took the bus :)!
