Casa Regina	The vacation rental In a charming small residence in a quiet area overlooking the hamlet of Nobiallo lays this apartment at 2 mins walking from the mainroad and lake side. The residence was built in 2000 and Casa Regina is furnished deliciously and accurately in modern style . The french windows of the living room and bedroom open up to a 16m2 balcony on the front furnished with dining table and deckchairs. The living room has sat. TV, CD player, radio, . View from Terrace	The surrounding area Lake como is 50 km long and one of the most beautiful in Europe ( surely the deepest!)and is it situated in a basin at the foot of the Alps and surrounded by mountains with lovely valleys excellent for hiking and moutainbiking. Menaggio is halfway on the north-west coast at 20 km from Como and 25 kmfrom Lugano. In front is the well known Bellagio and Varenna which you can reach in 15 mins by ferryboat. Climate: being at the south side of the Alps we have a pleasant temperate climate, springtime starts in April, the warmest month is July, but we are favoured with a lovely afternoon breeze , which is also loved by surfers and sailers. Dnot forget to visit the beautiful villas with parks on the lake side : Balbianello, Carlotta etc
Living	Activities As lake Como is close to Switzerland some of the valleys are a high-pass way for hikers ( in the past for smugglers!) in winter the tops and higher valleys are often snow covered. the shores of Lake como alternate between picturesque villages leaning out on the water, small gravel beaches ( no sand) , pleasure harbours everywhere. Bike rental, biking, fishing, golf, hiking, horse-back riding, jogging, miniature golf, mountain hiking, mountaineering, open-air pool, rock climbing, scuba diving, swimming, tennis, water sports
