	The vacation rental Hotel Residence Pompeo is situated in a National Park area. It has its own private beach awarded the Blue Flag status for the cleanliness of the water. The hotel has recently been renovated & offers both a gym & sauna facilities for guests staying both on a B & B basis or in the self-catering apartments. Meals are served both in the large air-conditioned dining room & on the hotel veranda, offering excellent local cuisine & a good choice of local wines. The apartments all have air-conditioning/heating with a colour TV. All residents have access to a private section of a sandy Blue Flag beach and each is provided with use of a sun umbrella, lounger and beach chair. Bed linen and bath towels are included in the price. There is a mini-market near the hotel for those in the self-catering apartments. Secure off-street parking is also provided
	The surrounding area The hotel is in the beach area of Santa Maria di Castellabate, situated in the Cilento National Park. The village of Santa Maria has a good selection of shops, 3 banks and a post office as well as bars, restaurants and pizzerias. There is a lively Saturday morning market which offers a range of items from cheeses and olives to clothes, bed linen and a variety of leather goods. Tailor-made excursions can also be organised to such attractions as Pompeii, Amalfi Coast, Capri, Paestum, Herculaneam, Vesuvius & Grotto di Castelcivita.
