The Cottage
Created from three stables, Chevrefeuille is a large, spacious gîte designed to accommodate 6/7 people in comfort. It has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, living room with wood-burning stove and kitchen area. One of the bedrooms is on the ground floor and has an en-suite showeroom equipped for wheelchair users. Upstairs are two further bedrooms, a shower room and separate toilet. From 2011 the gite now has full wood-pellet central heating. The gîte is accessible to wheelchair users and has been inspected and approved by the Association des Paralysés de France.
The gîte has a washing machine and TV.
Outside is a large stone patio area with a table and benches. Comfortable garden chairs and a barbecue are provided.
Special features
Sailing, canoeing, horse-riding, fishing, tennis, kite surfing and land-yachting are all available within a short distance of the property.

We are situated in the heart of beautiful, peaceful countryside, about 45 mins from Cherbourg on the west coast of the Cotentin peninsula. We have three self-catering cottages (Gîtes) - Stable Cottage, Chèvrefeuille and Jasmin, all of which are described later. Our farm is a veritable haven of peace and tranquillity where children can play in safety. We are only 6km from beautiful sandy beaches, and ideally placed for visiting Mont St Michel, Bayeux, and the Landing Beaches. The attractive market town of La Haye du Puits, 8km away, has all the shops you need, including two supermarkets. If you are a fan of French street markets there is one available every day within easy driving distance.

We have a selection of bicycles available to our guests. There is also table tennis on site, as well as swings & a trampoline for the children.
Children are welcome to help feed our ducks, chickens and goats, and we are now insured for guests to ride our ponies.

Entspannender Familienurlaub in traumhafter Umgebung

by V. Wortmann from MendenWil und Amanda sind die wohl allerbesten Gastgeber, die man sich wünschen kann.
Die Lage des Hofes und die Möglichkeiten (Dart, Trampolin, Schaukel, Tischtennis, Kicker, DVD´s ohne Ende, Bücher, Fahrräder, Grillmöglichkeiten, Kamin, Sitzecken, Garten, Pferde, Ziegen, Hühner, Gänse, Enten und und und...).
Ein Urlaub zum "Entschleunigen".
Das Wetter ist Normandieüblich, also regelmäßig Regen, trotzdem Temperaturen um die 22 Grad.
Alles in Allem können wir als Familie mit drei Kindern diese Ferienwohnung nur wärmstens empfehlen. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder unseren Urlaub hier verbringen!

Die Betreuung durch Wil und Amanda ist super und herzlich.
Die Wohnung ist schön. Der einzige Wermutstropfen war die etwas durchgelegene Matratze.
Leider war das Wetter nicht so toll, aber um den riesigen Kamin einzuheizen, war es dann doch noch zu warm, schade...
Die Umgebung ist traumhaft und die Lage des Hofes ist sehr idyllisch. Das "Drumherum" ist vollkommen unkompliziert.
Für einen Urlaub mit Hund ist die Adresse auch wärmstens zu empfehlen.
