The vacation rental
The house Chelidoni was built in 1936 and renovated in August 2002 completely. The marvellous holiday house Chelidoni I and II situated in the village interior at a little used street of Sivas. This house of 2 times of 70 mē can be inhabited in each case to a maximum of 4 persons or just up to 8 persons, if one liked to rent both house halves.
For the very small visitors we set up a collapsible cot ( Babytravellingbed, freely for the disposal.
Two efficiency apartments of in each case 70 mē are in the cretan village house floor space. The windows are also here glazed three times. The viewpoint protected inner court has a child swing, game corner, grill, a community terrace tables and chairs as well as marvellous green plant vegetation to the holiday house.
House Chelidoni I:
Through the entry coming it goes to the left into the impressing bath that with minoan stone bathtub, toilet, washbasin and hair-dry, to electric heater are available. From from here it goes into the large living-kitchen the completely Is Equipped with percolator, water boiling , gas stove, oven, exhauster hood, big freezing-refrigerator, dining table, right site to the kitchen are a single stone bed and a wood singlebed . From from here it goes about the wooden steps into the wonderful bright and light bedroom, this has a double bed producedly from old elecricity masts, wardrobe, air-conditioning equipment, a laundry chest, and a wonderful french bench bed-settee. From here you reach in few steps on the ca.10 mē terrace large with look about the stimulating Sivas, table and chairs are available.
House Chelidoni II:
To the house Chelidoni II, it belong 2 roofed terraces, one of that is part-overcast ideally for sun worshipers, 2 sunbed's are waiting of you , table and chairs, as well as the fascinating look about the Ida-Mountain are available.The upper bedroom has a wonderful massive wood double bed producedly from old electricitymast, wardrobe, air-conditioning equipment, some wooden steps lead in the lower bedroom with two wood single bed , transition to the kitchen that with electricity- gas stove combination, circulating air oven, exhauster hood the (Co Franke), and all further comfort, as equipment, equipped glasses, water boiling apparatus, percolator is. From the kitchen leads then into the wonderful bathroom with washbasins, toilet and minoan stone bathtub as well as a washing machine, electric heater and hair-dryer, are available. From bath and kitchen you can reach in each case onto the lower terrace.
The furnishings of the holiday house Chelidoni I or II is very much especially and you do not find it in other holiday houses as for example, the lamps all are Mouth Blown, beds from old electricity mast and ceiling joists.

The surrounding area
From Sivas via Pitsidia you will need 50 minutes per pedes (5 minutes by car) to get to the beautiful sand beach Komo. The path leads you through shadowy olive groves and orange plantation towards Pitsidia. When you reach it, you proceed through the pretty town and ahead through wine plantations in the direction of the beach.
If you like hiking, it is a swell simple route.

Special characteristics
Sivas is a traditional calm crete village only with approx. 600 inhabitants, the village is remote a place before Pitsidia-Matala and about 5 km from the beach, you need only 5 minutes by car for the sandy beach Komo or Kalamaki . from Sivas can undertake you fantastic excursions through the nature for example into the neighbouring place Pitsidia, Listaros or Kouses.
There is a Cafe to supply different possibilities to shop around themselves with all, also bread and wine, in the village 3 good taverns, one of that with playground, and 4 more Kafenion'.
You find a very good slaughterhouse also here in Sivas.
We ourselves live here in the village and I am very satisfied with "my" village.
