	The vacation rental DEL MAR is a cosy apartment, modernly furnished and fully equipped, in a renovated building. The surface of 45m2 has been distributed well. The apartment consists of the practical and complete kitchen (dishwasher, washing machine, dryer), the bathroom, the bedroom with a doublebed and the livingroom with dining table and double sofabed as well as a chair which can be converted into a comfortable(!) bed. Suitcases and other stuff can be hidden away in a little storage room. Recommended for small families, couples, friends oand of course individual travellers.
	The surrounding area DEL MAR is situated in the upper part of the Barceloneta, Barcelona's former fishermens' quarter. Close to the sea, with its own calm pace and the flattering spanish atmosphere Barceloneta is most wanted by our guest. Located between the Old Town (Ciutat Vella or Barrio Gotico) and the sea, the apartment is a good start for both your cultural- and beach excursions, both easily on foot. The wonderful Port Vell (harbour for sailboots and yards) with its many restaurants and terraces is just a stonethrow away. A metro station and bus stop are near, too, and so is the big Barceloneta markethall and other shops.
	Activities Museums, beach, Gaudi's arquitecture, Football stadium Camp Nou, Tibidabo fairground, Aquarium, Zoo, Universal Mediterranea in Salou (by train), strolling through the city, fantastic Tapas with spanish wine, great shopping everywhere Swimming
