The old farmhouse has a huge barn with a large garden behind it. Here you can enjoy the sun, have a barbecue or play a game of Boccia. The vegetable garden is designed as an old-style farmer’s herb and rose garden.

The surrounding area
Königstein is situated in the northern part of Bavaria - between Nuremberg, Amberg and Bayreuth. It is a recognised health resort. Königstein is 500 m above sea level and is located in the nature reserve Fränkische Schweiz/Veldensteiner forest, in a protected valley. It has a favourable climate.
The Haus am Markt is to be found in the old centre where all types of businesses can be seen: Bakers, supermarkets, butchers, hairdresser, beverages, shoes, taxi, physician, dentist, naturopathist. Many local restaurants offer a delicious and affordable lunch.
The Königstein golf course is right on our doorstep. It's situated in a slightly hilly landscape. In less than an hour’s journey from here you will find eight other golf courses.
