patio	The vacation rental We apologise that we have to finish the rental at 31/03/2009: The house has a large living room with a Scandinavian style wood-burning stove, satelite TV, and is tastefully furnished. There are two bedrooms (2 beds in each), a very well equipped kitchen (electric cooker with ceran hobs and oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge plus freezing compartement) with dining area . Washing machine and tumble dryer availble. Large bathroom with bath and separate shower. Separate WC close to bedrooms. Carport if required. All rooms are on ground floor level with large doors opening onto a partially covered south-facing patio. Garden furniture provided. Children can play in the sandpit or on the grass, can climb up into the treehouse or enjoy the swin
living room	The surrounding area The house is situated in a quiet position beside a disused railway track on the edge of Lueneburg, close to a wood. A short walk takes you to a small wildlife park (with deer, pigs, ducks etc). The town with its picturesque old brick buildings, many museums, leisure pool and spa, theatre and music attracts guests from all over the world. The town centre is only 2 miles away and easily accesible by car or public transport. Also easy to reach are the well known villages of the Lueneburger Heath. The Elbtalaue Nature reserve, the picturesque town of Lauenburg on the River Elbe and the lakes around Ratzeburg and Schwerin are popular for day trips. Luebeck and Hamburg are also worthwile and easy to go to.
