Location and surroundings
Kalkan is a small, exquisite holiday resort without any large tourist hotels. The architecture is Greek style. Kalkan once was a Greek fishing village that - after the resettlement in 1922 - was discovered from artists from Istanbul and turned gradually into a popular holiday destination.
It is remarkable that the Greek architectural style in the city centre of Kalkan has to be preserved and that the buildings must not be higher than 2 levels.
There are several restaurants around the small harbour with whitewashed houses above, twined by bougainvillea.
Tranquillity is a gift. Kalkan is perfect for contemplative strolls. Frantic and hedonistic people might not enjoy themselves in Kalkan.

Super Urlaub
30/08/2012
Sonst nur Bestnoten!1 of 1 persons think this rating is helpful

1 Woche in der Villa Bettina, Kalkan
19/02/2012
by A. Prof. Dr. Dietz from 84489 Burghausen- Ein großzügiges Anwesen mit mehreren Gebäuden, Villencharakter, großer Garten mit mediterraner Flora
- Herrlicher, gepflegter Pool
Alles in allem: Höchstnote für Haus, Land und Leute!4 of 4 persons think this rating is helpful

Paradies der Entspannung
15/02/2012
by L. Hesse from MünchenDas Haus ist ein wirklicher Traum.
Schönen Urlaub!3 of 3 persons think this rating is helpful
