The Holiday Apartment
La Tinaia is a traditional Tuscan Farmhouse, tastefully converted into 5 holiday apartments sleeping 2 - 4, only 10 km from Florence center.
Ginestra is a two-rooms apartment located on the top floor of the farmhouse. It is composed as follow:
* living-dining room with equipped kitchnette;
* double bedroom loft-mezzanine;
* bathroom with shower, bidet, wash-basin and wc - Hair-drier.
The apartment is comfortable, bright, well equipped and tastefully restored in the typical Tuscan style. It is furnished with antique furniture.
Furthermore there are Air conditioning, Sat TV, Internet Wireless, washingmachine and iron in common use.
Enjoy your holidays with colourful gardens and pool 11 x 5,50 metres with breathtaking country views !
Special features
"La Tinaia" allows you to experience a holiday in a family setting.
We cook dinner for guests once per week (6 persons minimum).
In our farm we produce: Chianti wine DOCG (controlled and warranted designations of origin) and extra virgin olive oil.

Perfect location for exploring Florence and Tuscany artistic heritage.
A 10 minutes drive takes you to the Scandicci tram/stop with free car parking and from there it's 15 minutes by tram to te center of Florence.
Tuscany tour: in less than an hour you can reach the most important Tuscany's artistic and architectural heritage: S. Gimignano, Siena, Certaldo, Vinci, Pisa, Volterra and others.
Visit the Chianti Classico, not far from the farm, to admire the beautiful landscape and famous villages such Greve, Radda, Castellina, Volpaia, etc.

Franco, my husband, is an axcellent chef. We organize cooking class on demande. Minimum 6 persons.
Once per week we cook a traditional florentine dinner for our guests (minimum 6 persons).

Arrival
From Motorway A1 (Milano/Roma):
Approaching Florence exit Firenze Scandicci. Pay at the toll and take FI-PI-LI direction Pisa on your right.
Continue on the FI-PI-LI for approx. 13 km. Take the exit Ginestra Fiorentina. Drive through two roundabouts direction Cerbaia approx 3.5k to San Vincenzo A Torri, cross this village and in front of the church take the right into Via S. Niccolò. Continue up the hill approx 4.5 km. La Tinaia is on the left side of the street.
