The vacation apartments are in one of the numerous historical half-timbered houses of the city. The comfortable flats were newly remodelled in 2003. In the garden behind the house you can enjoy the quietness of the adjoining wood. |

The surrounding area
Stolberg in Harz, also called "pearl of southern Harz", is surrounded by wood in some valleys of southern Harz. The complete medievally townscape with half-timbered houses from 15th to 18th century gives the city an especially charme. For this reason Stolberg got 1993 as first city the title "historical city of Europe". In the marvellous environment you can hike and in the fun bath in the city you can relax. Stolberg is an ideal point of departure for excursions to the mountains of Harz. Here you can discover a unique nature with rocks, highmoors and rarely plants. You can be close to very old historical sites and buildings and you can hear tales from kings and emperors. Try the Harzquerbahn, a nice historical railway or visit a mine.
