The Holiday Apartment
The non-smoker two-room attic-holiday-apartment was completely renovated in 11/2010 and is equipped with oak wood flooring, new toilet facilities, and some high-quality furniture, paintings and artefacts.
All rooms offer a view to the Baltic Sea and to the countryside, even from a small hallway and from the bathroom you can look onto the Sea. In good weather conditions you will be able to see the bridge of Fehmarn from the small northwest terrace.
For music lovers there is a good stereo system and extensive CD collection available. Many picture books and interesting literature invite you to scroll and read.
The kitchen is well equipped, mini oven allows the baking of bread. You will feel very safe in this nice and spacious holiday apartment.
Special features
Baltic Sea views from all rooms and nature all around the spacious roof-top-holiday apartment. Natural beach and nature reserve "Riedensee" are practically "at the door", the European cycle route passes directly by the Country House "Ostseeblick".

Location and surroundings
The serene and scenic location of the village Kägsdorf between the Baltic seaside resorts Rerik and Kühlungsborn will delight nature lovers.
The "Landhaus Ostseeblick" (Baltic Sea Cottage) is situated in an old manor park near the Baltic Sea. A natural beach (no charge of visitors tax) is just 800 meters away. Rerik (5 km) or Kühlungsborn (3 km) are reachable in a few minutes by car, but also by foot or by bike.
Other attractive destinations include the nearby seaside resorts of Heiligendamm or the monastery town of Bad Doberan with the famous "Doberan Minster" and the Hanseatic cities of Rostock and Wismar.
Between Bad Doberan and Kuehlungsborn-West runs the narrow gauge railway "Molli" - an attraction not just for kids!

Arrival
You will reach the resort Kägsdorf by exiting the country road 12 (L 12) in Bastorf, on the the Kägsdorfer Straße (coming from Hamburg turn left, coming from Rostock, turn right) take a turn.
Shortly thereafter - after passing some agricultural buildings and fields - you will see the Baltic Sea. It is worthwhile to pause briefly at the highest point and let your eyes wander. Then, following the main road, you will reach the small village Kägsdorf. Approx. 800 meters after passing the village sign, turn left onto "Zum Strande" and go to the mansion Kägsdorf.
There you need to turn right towards the sea and after about 400 meters you will see the sign of the "Landhaus Ostseeblick" you have arrived!

by C. Bühring from DresdenSeit vielen Jahren reisen wir in der Osterwoche an die Ostsee. In diesem Jahr war das Wetter recht wechselhaft und vor allem auch kühl. Dank dieser tollen Ferienwohnung, blieben aber trotz Kühle und manchmal auch Regen für uns keine Wünsche offen.
Die Zimmer sind mit soviel Liebe zum Details eingerichtet, dass sich das Wohlfühlgefühl bereits beim ersten Blick in die Ferienwohnung einstellt.
Aus sämtlichen Fenstern konnten wir die Ostsee erblicken und bei besserem Wetter wären sicherlich auch die Sonnenuntergänge vom Balkon aus zu betrachten gewesen.
Für eine ruhige Woche Urlaub mit vielen Standspaziergängen und Zeit für Gemütlichkeit werden wir wieder nach Kägsdorf in diese Ferienwohnung kommen.

Toller Winterurlaub in hervorragendem Ambiente

by G. Windisch from StahnsdorfDass man an der Ostsee so toll Winterurlaub machen kann, hätten wir nicht erwartet. Strandwanderungen sind um diese Jahreszeit etwas ganz Besonderes. Wir haben uns trotz teils eisiger Kälte und scharfen Windes sehr gut erholt. Dazu hat natürlich auch die sehr schöne Wohnung beigetragen, in der wir uns ausgesprochen wohlgefühlt haben. Im Winter, einer Jahreszeit, in der man naturgemäß mehr Zeit in der Wohnung verbringt, ist es besonders wichtig, dass an dieser alles stimmt. Wir waren rundrum zufrieden. Danke auch für das nette Willkommenspräsent.

haben Sie herzlichen Dank für die ausgesprochen positive Kommentierung Ihres Urlaubes in unserer Ferienwohnung, über die wir uns sehr freuen. Ja - an der Ostsee kann es auch im Herbst, Winter und Frühjahr wunderschön sein: Die See zeigt dann, was sie auch kann: wild sein und schäumen. Auch wenn sie ruhig ist, sind die Strände zu diesen Jahreszeiten oft wie leergefegt und die Restaurationsbetriebe haben mehr Zeit für ihre Gäste. Und wir sind mit unserer Ferienwohnung gut auf Gäste eingerichtet, die gern in angenehmer Atmosphäre Musik hören, Bücher lesen oder auch "nur" mit dem Fernglas auf die wilde See hinausblicken.
