The Holiday Apartments

Cascina Barricchetti is a typical Piemontese farmhouse in an idyllic hilly location at 530 metres above sea level. It has a magnificent 180° panoramic view. The property’s charm lies in its unique location and its practical furnishings. It comprises 2 holiday flats, each with 2-4 beds, living kitchens and a bathroom with shower and toilet, then 4 double rooms each with its own bathroom (toilet/shower). One of these is wheelchair-accessible. There is also a recreation room with a kitchenette area. All guests may use the SALONE, which contains a TV, kitchenette area, wood-burning stove, tables, library and seating area. This room is also suitable for use as a seminar/training room. The holiday flats/rooms can be rented individually or as a whole, for groups or families. There are 14 beds and 6 bathrooms in total.

Location and surroundings

Cascina Barricchetti is located approximately 4km from the small town of Dogliani, surrounded by vineyards and hazelnut groves. We harvest our own vineyard and the fruit orchard with its apricot, peach, plum, apple, pear, kiwi fruit, quince and Kaki persimmon trees. Alba is 30 km away and you can be in the wine-growing villages of Barolo and Barbaresco within half an hour! The sea and Turin are each about an hour’s drive.
On our farm you can explore your artistic site, play boules, chat under the fig tree, cook/barbecue, mess around in the workshop with the easel or tools, or simply relax on a lounger.
Piemont is a veritable Eldorado for cyclists!

   My husband and I spent several days there at the end of two weeks of travelling. Our only regret was not spending more time! Our hosts, Nicole and Jurg were friendly, helpful and gracious. The accommodations were excellent! Can't wait to go back!
